The solution might be to make gnome-keyring pay attention to the same gconf key
as seahorse-agent.

I'm really surprised this is wishlist status yet seahorse seems to be
the default ssh-agent in hardy. I would consider this a serious
security issue for a shipping release (especially an LTS release).

around it too.
