My last comment above was too early. I thought I had rebooted after
blacklisting "mei_me" and "mei" and encountered the same problem again,
but it might not be true. I've never met the failing resume after
suspend since I leaving the impatient comment #12 and strongly suspect
either "mei_me" or "me
Blacklisting "mei_me" and "mei" does not solve the problem on my system,
kernel 3.16.0-41.

I confirm this bug. It happens at resume from suspension and also
shutdown sometimes blocks.
kernel 3.16, Ubuntu 14.10. Dell XPS 13 9333. Failure at suspend/resume
