Public bug reported:

In Qtcreator 3.0.1 from Ubuntu 14.04 cmake arguments are provided in the 
project setting.
However currently different build types share the same cmake argument setting 
in the project UI.

I checked that inside CMakeLists.txt.user separate keys
(CMakeProjectManager.CMakeBuildConfiguration.UserArguments) are indeed
defined for each configuration. However they are always kept the same by
the project management.

The upstream maintainer said it's likely a ubuntu specific bug.
