Have reproduced this again:-
ubuntu-device-flash --wipe --channel devel
Boot, make sure it all works.
ubuntu-device-flash --channel devel-proposed
Mount via MTP
Put music on device
Wait.
Unity 8 now re-spawning repeatedly..
