Public bug reported: I'm the Fedora maintainer of python-kerberos.
I've submitted a patch upstream to add an API for gss_inquire_cred(), https://trac.calendarserver.org/ticket/830 , but haven't gotten any response at all in weeks. I want to include this patch into Fedora but don't want to create an incompatibility with other distros. Can you consider including this patch as well? This patch adds new API so you can determine the current principal without making a server connection or having to make direct Kerberos calls (using python-krbV, for example). ** Affects: pykerberos (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1295704 Title: Include gss_inquire_cred() patch submitted upstream To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pykerberos/+bug/1295704/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
