Still an issue as of Friday April 18 even running 3.14 kernel from ppa
and I tried to remove problematic programs like docky (never survives
a resume, even when 14.04 w 3.14 kernel does resume), and tried to run a
more fresh install but issue still exists.
Temporarily offloaded my 14.04 install
This happened again today. It seems to happen with lid closing being
the trigger. I have not had an issue if I choose suspend from the menu.
Let me know how to find more information for you. I have been a buntu
user since 6.06 but don't have a lot of experience in finding logs/etc.

I did as you asked. I don't really notice any difference. The suspend
issue only happened once with the linux-image-3.13.0-20-generic kernel
and it is up to -22 and the issue has not repeated.
There is something unexpected here with the 3-14 kernel: the driver
acpi_cpufreq is not being used,
Finally found some info. As I had been watching my battery % drop
quickly, I do notice that it seems to not be dropping like a rock now.
It went from 60% to 59% in the last 18 minutes, and this is better than
with I was seeing.
