That's not a problem. I have almost 25 years with unix/linux systems and
a similar amount of time with windows. Troubleshooting isn't an issue.
The system I was using was basically my network monitor, so rebuilding
it took less than an hour and in reality, could have restored it from
backups. The h
Debugging a keyboard that stops working is not easy, you could need 2
computers in a network. If the second machine runs Windows you need to
have putty.exe from
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html.
Please proceed as following:
1. What brand and model is your keyboard.
I simply unplugged one of the keyboards and mouse. Now I only have one
mouse and keyboard installed. Right now it's the PS2 keyboard and mouse,
but I'll test running the usb keyboard and mouse this week.

Hmmm, I have to boot over and over again to get the keyboard operating
long enough in grub to actually scroll down and select a previous
kernel. The keyboard does operate in bios until it loads grub. When I
finally use grub to load 2.6.17.11 (instead of 2.6.20.16) it freezes
