To follw up, I had to do a fresh install of 14.04 to clear out the
multiple instances. I was having other wierd things going on anyway.
What I can say is that the problem, at least in my case because I was
running Nvidia 337.xx on 12.04 for crypto currency mining, may have
stemmed from not
I am running xubuntu-default-settings 14.04.5 and I assure you all, this
bug is not fixed. I still have two instances of Additional Drivers
In Settings Manager and one instance that I do not want of Nvidia X
Server Settings even after a full purge and reboot.
