Possible dup bug on VirtualBox: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/11938 I believe I have fixed this by updating the BIOS on my Dell XPS 13 ultrabook - machines using 3D acceleration now can be resumed without crashing, and several machines can be run in parallel. I'll update here if I experience

I do not follow. As far as I can see the solution suggested on that thread is to turn off 3D acceleration. This has already been suggested here. It makes the problem go away, but it is not a solution because you cannot use any recent desktop manager at the guest. There are other suggestions at
