Accepted ubuntu-release-upgrader into trusty-proposed. The package will
build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/ubuntu-release-upgrader/1:0.220.4 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this
I've verified that the version of ubuntu-release-upgrader in trusty-
proposed could properly calculate the upgrade from saucy to trusty when
grep:i386 was installed.

The upgrade is rejected because:

which is due to:

Thanks Jean-Baptiste for the analysis of the issue. This is indeed a bug
in the release-upgrader.
@roberto: as a workaround you can run "sudo apt-get install grep:amd64"
and then re-run the upgrade again.
