So you're not using vmware-player provided by ubuntu repositories. I
really have no idea to solve that problem.. It's a problem of vmware-
player, not of ubuntu.
** Changed in: vmware-player (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: None => vmware-player
** Summary changed:
- esd process blocking sound in vmw
I did an apt-get upgrade today, so my system should be >= Tribe-4 as of
now, but I'm still having this conflict between esd and vmware player.
I'm using vmware-for-linux, on a gutsy tribe-4 host os, to run windows
as the guest os inside vmware.
I'm using feisty's 2.6.20-16 kernel in gutsy tribe-4
You're running Gutsy Tribe-3 using VMware Player 2 at Windows ? Have you
tried yet with Tribe-4 ?
** Changed in: Ubuntu
