No I don't want to test another kernel. I have simply removed totem from my
system as VLC works without this bug.

Yes it seems that it is using too much CPU. However, running "top" shows that
Totem is only using about 25% to 30% CPU, so top does not detect too much CPU
usage. Also the CPU usage doesn't change much whether totem runs full screen or
in a window.

However, I had already removed totem from my system. I don't know if this will
cause a problem with collecting the log files this way.
