I am also affected. It's very annoy. The Gmail tab is often forgotten,
though others are as well.
Gmail also seems the tab most likely to be moved around. I usually keep
it all the way on the left, but now

same here, since upgrade to ubuntu 14.04
it affects esp. the tabs that are pinned (these seem to be more often
forgotten) but now also the normal ones are lost
pleaze help, this new feature is very annoying
