ISTR I did a clean install, but saved /home on a separate partition. The
content of /etc/hosts is
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 pcbjalar.mai.liu.se pcbjalar
# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
Did you upgrade this system from an earlier version of Ubuntu? I was
under the strong impression we'd fixed this a while back.
Could you post the current contents of /etc/hosts, and describe exactly
what change you made to it?
