I did a bunch of work on the server side and I think this issue is fixed now. I tried to install ryzom on a clean 14.04 system and I get the trusty sources and version 2.1.0.4658-0ubuntu2. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to

I'm experiencing this issue as well. It can easily be reproduced on a new install of Ubuntu 14.04 and here's a video of what happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhw8sY0dVq8 This is a SEVERE issue. USC is installing broken software (that the user may have paid money for) even though

I can confirm that the main issue is USC adding the wrong apt sources. I've been testing on trusty but it'll automatically add the package source for quantal. reinhard@ubuild:/etc/apt/sources.list.d$ cat private-ppa.launchpad.net_commercial-ppa-uploaders_filebot_ubuntu.list deb

Hi Cédric. USC just looks where the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ files tell it to. How did you end up with the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/private- ppa.launchpad.net_commercial-ppa-uploaders_ryzom_ubuntu.list file in the first place? ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete

Hi Matthew, Thanks for your reply :) I always installed the game from USC. And I noticed something else very strange, before installing it, the version displayed in its page was different from the one after the installation, but in these 2 cases, it was an old version and not the Trusty one. --
