Yes it does break a feature, logging. It floods the logs with
unnecessary warnings, and NetworkManager is already very chatty in the
logs, even without fake warnings. It's not urgent, but it should be
fixed eventually.

I still see it in the logs. The earliest occurrences are from Nov 29,
which is today.
