@nelhage, my LANG=en_AU.UTF-8. To my knowledge, this is not a natively 24-hour locale, but I could be wrong - how does one check? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1319195 Title:

@paulgear, what locale is your system in? If you're in a 24-hour locale, as mentioned in #5, this bug is not present (well, to be precise, it's present in the opposite direction). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

I am in no way trying to suggest that there is not a bug here, but this bug has not affected me from trusty to yakkety. Here's a screenshot showing my indicator panel. Perhaps there is some particular combination of options which causes this? ** Attachment added: "Menu_001.png"

This is a terrible hack, but I've discovered that the applet will respect your locale, just not the preference option. So setting `export LC_TIME=en_UK.UTF-8` in your `.gnomerc` should work, assuming you have the `en_UK.UTF-8` locale installed and configured. -- You received this bug

This is still an issue in 16.04. In addition to the duplicate bugs, see http://askubuntu.com/questions/493725 Is there a work-around for this until it gets fixed? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.
