This was caused by bug 131961, and should be fixed now. (The version of
mount.deb is irrelevant; it's the version of busybox that's installed in
the initrd that matters.)

Seeing same kind of problem with AMD64 last daily in a vmware server
virtual machine. Live CD install seems to work.

Tested again with daily CD Aug 17, which has the new mount package
2.13~rc3-5_amd64.
This failed again, with same error message as before.
