After installing Ubuntu 14.04 on my Asus Q501LA Notebook the touchpad
does not work. After doing some further investigation I found that the
OS doesn't even recognize that the touchpad even exists. I was running
Windows 8.1 before installing Ubuntu 14.04 and the touchpad worked just
fine. I've attached more information to the bug report. My logitech
mouse works when I attach it too.
