Public bug reported: Using Ubuntu 7.04 a dvi file was converted to a pdf via dvipdfm. The output contained a graphic that was shifted out of position. This problem did not occur with Ubuntu 6.06. To patch the problem in Ubuntu 7.04 I did the following.
1. Backup the file /etc/texmf/texlive/dvipdfm.cfg on my Ubuntu 7.04 machine. 2. Copy the file /usr/share/texmf-tetex/dvipdfm/config/config from my Ubuntu 6.06 machine to the directory /etc/texmf/texlive/ directory on my Ubuntu 7.04 machine, and rename that file dvipdfm.cfg. I do not know what changed in the internal structure of these two files, but the new one did not work properly, the old one did. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: dvipdfm -- Flaw in Ubuntu 7.04; patch from Ubuntu 6.06 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132601 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
