Public bug reported: The current version in the 14.04 repo (1.8.4) contains the following bug: When trying to rename a file via right-click -> "Rename..." the entire rename box turns completely invisible (no border, no text) preventing any actual renaming operation without guessing the letter positions. This often happens when the view is scrolled down and a file is to be renamed which was not visible before scrolling down i.e. a file at the bottom of the list.
This has been fixed upstream.
