we've implemented a new display configuration tool (accessed via "Screen
Resolution") which should address the issue, probably including the
refresh rate stuff. If there are still problems though, please feel
free to reopen this

latest version of displayconfig-gtk is able to fix the problem if i
manualy set monitor 1024*768. Older version and plug n play were not
able to fix the sync problem. If i use plug and play, i still ahve
300-450 of refreash sync even if xorg.conf specify 70hrz
