Hi Christopher, sorry but doing bisection I found this is not a bug, but rather some misconfiguration with the default ubuntu desktop system settings whose I fixed with some random modification of the flags in the "Mouse and Touchpad" system settings applet. My other bug (https://bugs.launchpad.

Hi Christopher, the 3.16rc1 kernel fixed the issue! Now the touchpad scroller works fine, it just is inverse: going UP with my finger causes the screen to scroll DOWN, like the behaviour you get on touchscreens, so maybe it's intentional indeed... So thank you a lot! If someone please explains me
