I can't reproduce it in gutsy either. Please give the output of 'dpkg -s
openoffice.org | grep Version'. It seems there is a similar bug report
with OpenOffice found here:

crashing for you? No new releases have fixed the issue?
It's bug is common to all Feisty user.
