This was reportedly fixed by earlier Qt 5.3.2 testing. Qt 5.3.2 is now
in vivid.

You should now be able to keep eg. Qt Creator and Ubuntu plugin even if
the ubuntu-sdk meta-package might need to be removed when upgrading.
The packages are only partially well
Bug #1333150 is probably related/interesting, where it's mentioned the
changes are because of 5.3's support for smooth scrolling features of
XInput2.

Added the tag back. Two confirmations that the problem is there when
using Ubuntu inside a virtual machine. Currently it would seem it works
on real hardware though normally.
