w0w, 2.5 years ago, just had to refresh my memory.
I nailed it down to the version of libjemalloc1 in Ubuntu 14.04, which
is 3.5.1.
At the time of writing I still checked all versions of libjemalloc1 in
Ubuntu releases and Debian releases.
16.04 was not even on the map at the time. I
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

We are experiencing the same issue at the moment (Same version, same

On Ubuntu 14.04: 3.13.0-29-generic
On Ubuntu 12.04: 3.11.0-23-generic
All 64bit architecture ;) not multiarch either.
