pepperflashplugin-nonfree now downloads the PPAPI Flash Player Plugin
(i386 and amd64) from Adobe instead of Google, so this issue should no
longer happen. Marking as Fix Released.
Anyway better avoid this package (unless using Debian), better install
adobe-flashplugin (on Ubuntu) instead: https:/
The attachment "patchpepper.diff" seems to be a patch. If it isn't,
please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch"
tag, and if you are a member of the ~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the
team.

I have exactly the same problem. I'm not sure if this helps in sorting
out this bug, but the following worked for me:
> aptitude install pepperflashplugin-nonfree
> update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree --install
