You've neglected to mention which version of gnome-terminal you're
running, but actually, I think the more pertinent question is what
version of libvte you're running. T
here is the valgrind log mentioned in the bug description.
While logging, I let the gnome-terminal exhibiting the symptoms run for
approximately 1 minute after it locked up, hoping it would close or
finish on its own. After no such luck, I killed it, and the gnome-
