Abhijit, you're right scrolling in Chrome "only" uses around 40% or so. I noticed it doesn't have smooth scrolling enabled. After disabling smooth scrolling in Firefox (general.smoothScroll in about:config), CPU usage dropped to about the same level as Chrome. Still extremely high for just scrollin
