a) this can't be caused by the package since it's only a meta package
b) .kde permissions are entirely handled within kdebase/startkde, so if this
error would have occured for every feisty installation
Since a and b make this report rather impossible I think this was a sudo
screw up.

don't know why I would install it instead of kubuntu-desktop... has

Assigning to kdebase since there seems to be no package in Launchpad for the
kde meta.
I previously installed Ubuntu Feisty and installed the kubuntu-desktop package
and had no problems, but kubuntu-desktop does not install the kde metapackage.

That is after installing kde metapackage (5:47) in Ubuntu feisty. It's
not KUbuntu.
