for me the installation went well - PowerMac G5 , 7.3 , DualProcessor
and Nvidia 5200 FX.
After installation , boot process with various results - striped colours
, black screen, etc.
What helped me was to edit yaboot.conf
following this guide here

What more information do I need to provide before we can change the
status from "incomplete" to "new"? By the way I recently installed
Debian 7.6 on the computer in question and it went smoothly.

I tried to upgrade the current installation with the `do-release-update'
command but unfortunately it failed and now I don't have a working
installation anymore. I could reinstall the old version of Lubuntu and
the run `apport-collect' but currently I don't have access to the
computer in question.
