5 month without a response. Problem assumed to be fixed. Based on
comments regarding Bluetooth, this was probably patched in linux-source
2.6.22-11.32 (2.6.22-14-generic is current). If the problem does still
exist, please set the status back to New and provide more details.

I get this error in -9 and -10. I even get it trying to install cleanly
from the Tribe 4 disc, almost immediately after choosing the install
option.

I'm having several Oops too. And computer hangs when working with
bluetooth.
Try blacklisting the bluetooth module. Add this line in
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist:
blacklist bluetooth
Then try to restart and see what happens.
