Public bug reported:

The Fullscreen option of virtual machine viewer causes a couple of
problems. Firstly, there's no way to break out of fullscreen, the
toolbar does not roll down anymore. Secondly, after breaking out of full
screen by other means (I use compiz scale windows in the example below
to get past the problem) the window can't be maximised properly.

To reproduce:

1) configure compiz so that Scale in Window management can be activated
by moving the mouse to the bottom -right corner. This is a reliable way
to break out of the problem, as I've been unable to find any keyboard
combinations that work. Keyboard short-cuts don't work.

2) Build a virtual machine, Ubuntu 12.04 server will do.

3) Start the VM, no need to log-in.

4) Choose the Full Screen option by clicking either menu or toolbar
button.

5) There is a flash of tool buttons at the top-middle that rolls away,
which are the ones that should be bed to break out of full screen. It
leaves a little line in the top-middle of the screen. Move your mouse to
this line and observe that they don't appear as you'd expect (they used
to in older released). You can try un-grabbing the mouse, it makes no
difference.

6) Active compiz Scale Windows as configured in step 1, and close the
full-screen window using the its title-bar close button.

7) Go back to virtual machine manager and open the window for the
machine you just closed.

8) Try to maximise (not fullscreen) it, observe that it's window title
bar is not merged into the screen title bar.

The faults are observable in steps 5 and 8. If you close virtual machine
manager completely and open the virtual machine window again it will
maximise as normal, the full-screen fault appears to interfere with it.
