Public bug reported: I don't know which package/component is responsible for this.
Distro: Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 with all updates. Resume from Suspend-To-Ram is very slow. I've measured times with stopwatch, hitting "start" while opening the lid. Times in seconds: 0 - laptop lid opened 1 - reaction - LEDs blinks, suspend LED start to blink, harddrive starts 13 - screen turned on in text mode 22 - screen flickers few times, switching between text and graphic modes 29 - xscreensaver password prompt appears So, half minute to workin system. Order of magnitude more than acceptable time. Considering that Macbooks Pro with Mac OS X are able to unsuspend while lid is beeing opened (2-3 seconds)... this should be fixed. My hardware is Lenovo Thinkpad Z61t with Intel graphics. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- resume from STR is very slow on Thinkpad z61t https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135083 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
