Public bug reported: We use Ubuntu 12.04 + 14.04 HWE. Sometimes the kernel freezes at startup. There is no kernelpanic. I can not use Systemrequest-Keys for restart. The only key that gives Feedback is the Numlock-Key (LED toggles). When i powercyle the Computer Grub has no countdown for booting the first Kernel. When I press Enter the Kernel starts normaly. I cannot find something in Syslog or somewhere else. I deactivated the bootparameter quiet und added the Parameter "console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200n8". I connected the Computer via a Nullmodemcable with another computer and logged the bootprocess with minicom. The Logs are attached. I can not reproduce this Bug in Kernel linux- image-3.11.0-13-generic
