Public bug reported: Was testing gnome maps location feature (doesnt detect my exact location, just my general location based on IP address), when i went to the gnome panel at the top to see what version of gnome maps this was. Afterwards the map itself was "frozen inplace" on my desktop until I quit the gnome maps application itself. As a result when i go to the desktop overview i cant see my open apps and workspaces because gnome maps (the map portion) blocks my view.
