This certainly isn't related to mentioned upstream bug because mentioned
bug was against 1.0 version and that issue was fixed, just never
confirmed by reporter. Your issue seemed to be related to menu
positioning problems that were fixed in LibFM 1.2.1, you just need to
upgrade your libfm-gtk4 pack
that was not ment to link to a luanchpad bug this is meant to link to

This seems to have returned to original behavior of before but itself is
an upstream after applying an update to xorg-server 1.15.1 with recent
updates. Which itself wasn't quite right but is now part of upstream
pcmanfm bug 633.
