Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 14.04 is running on a standard installation with fully encrypted
disk. After a few months the update breaks because of a crowded /boot
partition. As a workaround it would be possible to remove old kernel
images.

This is a heavy security issue as it prevents the whole system from
being updated. Could be reproduced on several systems.
