Public bug reported: Ubuntu 14.10 r197
1. Launch the Camera app for the first time. What you see: * The prompt says the app "wants to access your current location." * The buttons are "Deny" and "Allow". What you should see: * The prompt says the app "wants to access your location." (It isn't just your -current- location, but your location whenever you use the app.) * The buttons are "Don’t Allow" and "Allow". ("Deny" is a little too aggressive.) <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AccountPrivileges#Phone> ** Affects: location-service (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "screenshot of the problem" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1358218/+attachment/4180424/+files/wants%20to%20access%20your%20current%20location.png ** Summary changed: - Wording errors in "wants to access your location" prompt + Wording glitches in "wants to access your location" prompt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1358218 Title: Wording glitches in "wants to access your location" prompt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/location-service/+bug/1358218/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
