Public bug reported: First, notice that I use xscreensaver and not (the default ?) gnome- screensaver
I try to switch user in the following two ways: 1) Switch User in the Action Buttons in the panel 2) New Login after selecting Lock Screen in the Action Buttons in the panel (so screen locked with xscreensaver). Neither of these work, returning the following message respectively: 1) Unable to start new display: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.DisplayManager was not provided by any .service files 2) ** (gdmflexiserver:4177): WARNING **: Couldn't connect to accessibility bus: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-j6lDCq9SEB: Connection refused ** (gdmflexiserver:4177): WARNING **: Unable to create transient display: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.DisplayManager was not provided by any .service files Release: (X)ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS Xscreensaver version: 5.15-3ubuntu1: amd64 Attached log of xscreensaver.
