Title:
I cannot file a bug via ubuntu-bug linux, since I'm running a mainline
kernel (4.6.3-040603-generic) to solve another issue related to USB 2/3
transition.
These messages show up in kern.log only when webcam is connected. Video
works fine, but microphone does not.

The system boots without any problem but using the microphone on my
webcam triggers the bug. The microphone works fine the first time. But
the second time I want to use it, I get the Cannot set frequency 16000
to 0x86 message.
