Public bug reported: I'm running gutsy tribe 5, and after a recent upgrade suspend and hibernate stopped working. Hibernate is gone from the logoff menu, and pressing the function key to hibernate results in an "action forbidden" message telling me that hibernation is not available. Suspend appears to work, but when I attempt to recover I get stuck at a black screen with a single white flashing underscore in the upper left corner. I have also attempted the suggestions in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=471855, using uswsusp. S2ram does not work. S2disk mostly works, but sound is disabled upon recovery.
