Sorry for the long time between my responses, but I completely forgot this bug.
I'm very sorry.
At my computer the empty window is indeed empty. But the other window also
looses content and seems to be frozen. It looks like the bug is confirmed, the
freeze happens more often here and the
I forgot to mention that the restore did work.

I think that in fact , there is no problem .Just a lack of knowledge on
GTK API on our side :-( .
The popu you see should in fact contain the Restoring ... text and be there
to show that there are some processing . It should have been threaded but it's
not that why the UI freezes when
