Binary package hint: desktop-effects
For the xorg radeon driver, in xorg.conf:
Option "DynamicClocks" "on"
The result is reduced power. Seems like a no brainer, unless there are
issues which I am not aware of (I've been doing some research, and it
seems that all stability issues with this option were resolved around
the Xorg 7.0 release).
