issue.

Brian, if wxl (release manager lubuntu) requests a respin of the
alternate ISO's will it pick up the new apt?

the BusyBox prompt offers no access to apt/dpkg tools, at least not that
i'm aware of. unfortunately, the whole d-i process is kind of a mystery
to me. so i'm not sure what to do as far as testing in situ is
concerned.
as soon as d-i is rebuilt, i'll get Lubuntu Alternate images rebuilt so
we can
ok according to `rmadison apt`, the new apt is indeed in the repos, so a
rebuild off the tracker will pull it in. that being said, i'm rebuilding
now.

levels, windows7, plus experimenting with Mate, debian lxde and Google
3.12 on built in hard drive and external USB solid state drive.
