[UPDATE] I applied the advice which appeared int he earlier referenced
article involving blacklisting the I2C mode of the clickpad, and it
worked. My current kernel version reports.
$ sudo uname -srv

I have this same machine and am affected by the same issue. I have
applied the A04 version of the OEM BIOS and the problem is unchanged. I
have read elsewhere that it is an issue with too many digitizer inputs
(touch screen & touchpad), can you please advise how to disable the
touch screen digitize
