Public bug reported: I've noticed since a recent kernel update that my XPS 15 running Ubuntu 14.04 keeps dropping my 5ghz wifi connection and subsequently that connection s not available from the drop-down list in the network manager applet, only the 2.4ghz connections are.
The wifi card is an Intel AC 7260 and I see there have been other bug reports about problems with the latest driver (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+bug/1293569) Possibly a duplicate but wanted to register this independently first, in case not.
