I can not reproduce this. Pivot table opens in front of LibreCalc
window, don't see any problem. :( Maybe this is not direct metacity
bug...
Ubuntu in default session does not use metacity. What session do you
use? If default then this could be bug in compiz.

I use default - so it could be in compiz.
I'm technically minded enough to make a real hash of things, but struggle
to pin things down to be able to fix them. Should I raise this as a new
bug, or amend the existing one?

To manage
Steps:
Open LibreCalc - ok
Open spreadsheet with data - ok
Highlight data - ok
Click on DataPivot Tablecreate - ok
Select source window appears - ok
Click on OK for current selection - ok
LibreCalc then frosts over as the pivot table window should be front of
screen and accessible.
All I can do
Can you write steps how to reproduce bug?
