Thank you for your bug report. There is a similar issue described
upstream, you can read about it on
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468671. Could anybody try on
hardy? The new version has special google calendar code, would be
interesting to know whether that's still an issue

I also experience this issue. My Google Calendar timezone is adjusted to
GMT-05:00 (Eastern Time) and my timezone in Ubuntu is America/New_York.
All of my 8AM Classes show up at 3AM (a 5 hour difference.

Sorry for confirming it, I misread the original post. In Evolution, my
Google Calendar events show up OK, but in the time applet in gnome my
events show up with -3h. It used to work OK in Feisty, now using Gutsy
beta, so this is a regression.
