Public bug reported:

gutsy tribe 5 system-config-printer 0.7.73

A user must be a member of the lpadmin group to modify printer settings in
system-config-printer.
A member of the admin group cannot modify these settings.

I am a member of admin but not lpadmin.
When I modify printer settings, such as making a new printer the default
printer, a window that says <Password required> opens. The window also says
<Password for mark on localhost?>. When I type my password, dots appear as I
type. When I click OK, the window blinks quickly and reappears, dots still in
the password field.
When I make myself a member of lpadmin and click OK, the change is made.

I would assume that someone who can use sudo should be able to set
up/modify printers?

Thanks.
